Politea: The One Who Betrayed Daphne And Looks Like Bloom

4 May

Take a look at the picture below. Does it look like someone you know?

Well, her name is Politea and she is a nymph, like Daphne. She was also Daphne’s best friend before she betrayed Daphne to the Ancestral Witches, allowing them to turn Daphne into a bodiless spirit. She is first seen in Season 5, Episode 23, “The Shark’s Eye”. Anyways, back to the point. Doesn’t she look like Bloom? Except she has brown hair and greenish-gray eyes. Compare the pictures of Bloom and Politea below.

Same style hair, shirt, and both have shawls! So her sister and her back-stabbing ex-best friend look alike. What does that mean? Is it just one Rainbow’s mistakes, or is it frightening foreshadowing?

Question: What do you think about the almost exact similarity? Do you think it is foreshadowing, or just a little mistake? Is there something else we’re missing?

I think it’s mostly because the characters from Winx Club basically look the same if you remove the hair and some minor facial features, and add different colors. I don’t think Politea’s likeness with Bloom was intentional, especially since Bloom’s look has changed the most (probably) of all the Winx girls throughout the years.

I haven’t looked at it that way… but now that you’ve told me, I guess you’re probably right! 🙂
